This was a great value to be be downtown.
This felt very budget. There are no coffee pots in the rooms, or kettles. Just a microwave and mini fridge. The amenities felt spare- tiny bottle of shampoo and no lotion or anything. The room was huge and the bed and pillows very comfortable. The room was super clean and the staff incredibly sweet (especially to my kid). So the staff isn’t the issue. The fabric on the sofa was plastic and the whole place felt kinda cheap. It’s was fine, but for that price we could do better
The receptionist was very efficient, helpful & friendly. The security guard was also helpful & friendly. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean & functional. The price was competitive and the location was very convenient (easy on/off I-45 freeway), quiet and felt safe. Unlike the majority of hotels & lodging options in downtown Houston, parking here was on-site and affordable. Although I did not use it, the pool area looked really nice & I wished I had time to enjoy it.
