My Husband and I booked the first weekend of October to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. We like to hike and drive all around the area . My husband picked Best Western in Harbor Springs for the location so we can get out the door for the day and have somewhere to crash after our days out. Our car broken down, we had no choice but stay where nearby. Surprisedly, it’s a nice hotel. Everyone is so helpful—they gave us the good mechanics nearby, jumpstarted our car, offered tow company nearby as well. When nothing is working, they allowed us to stay in our room after checkout hours and wait for our tow truck.

Clean comfortable hotel. Very friendly helpful staff. Was not sure I would like having exterior doors but I found it much easier to come and go with the car right outside my door. Pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast was excellent with real eggs. The owner was there greeting guests and helping with breakfast on Labor Day. Family owned business for many years. Would stay there again. Location good to Harbor Springs, Petoskey, and Petoskey State Park just down the road.
