We stayed here for a wedding in Maggie Valley, and while this isn't the type of hotel we usually book (we're from the Boston area and typically stay at Hilton or Marriott properties), it ended up being a great choice for our trip. The location was very convenient to the wedding venue, and the price was hard to beat. One of our favorite little touches was the two rocking chairs right outside our room. Do not recommend. In the bathroom every corner has a build up of junk. The bath tub has dark stains in it so you could not tell if it was even clean. Has rocking chairs in front of every room which is a nice touch but everything could use a nice power wash to make you feel more comfortable. The clerk(maybe owner??) had an odor of cigar which don’t bother me but walking across the parking lot there was at least 10 cigar butts scattered as we walked, shows how much they care about the place.

Do NOT stay at this Best Western! I was quoted a price of $83 plus tax a night so decided to stay 3 nights as it was convenient. Upon checking out the manager Ben "AJ" Patel charged us $179 for the second night and $199 plus taxes for the third without telling me up front about his ridiculous weekend rates!
