I can’t recommend Best Western, as they made a promise to go cage-free for all the eggs they use globally, and they seem to think it’s OK to only do it in some countries. It’s not! NZ Chickens deserve the same! Shame on you for putting profit before Animal Welfare
Does best western double dip on its third site providers when someone books the wrong date and they know there is an extra room? I made an honest mistake on booking.com to which that website graciously tried to cancel my reservation with the local hotel. If you deal with booking you know that’s not an easy feat. I’ve stayed at best western triple digit times over the last two years. Never again. I made an honest mistake on booking.com to which that website graciously tried to cancel my reservation with the local hotel. The local best western said no…and the 1 800 number tried to see if they would change their mind to which they did not. The headquarters hides behind the franchise part of this problem. Luckily, there are so many other hotel chains to pick from.
Best Western is using deceiving practices to profit off customers. They offer a low price guarantee if you book through them with little intention of honoring it. Meaning they get not only a higher rate for their rooms then if you booked on a 3rd party site but they also save on the commission the 3rd party would get. Customers are left having paid more for rooms because of their deceptive practices.
