The room was clean. The staff were friendly. The rate was right.
The room itself wasn’t terrible. The bed frame could use some better maintenance, and there were a couple of dead bugs in the sink, but the bed was clean and comfortable. I also really liked the hardwood floors — that was a nice touch. Unfortunately, my experience at the front desk overshadowed the positives. After working a 13.5-hour shift, the last thing I needed was an attitude. Been a bit since our stay, but just came across my notes. Pros: It was a place to rest our heads for the night Cold AC Cons: No ice available the night we were there for some reason Fridge in the room was frozen up & not cooling Shower faucet needed replaced & the shower had terrible water pressure We were a little disconcerted to notice that it looked like the lock had been busted off the door at some point & little attempt to repair, fill the holes, or repaint the area had been made.
