I am sad to say that I was highly disappointed in my experience checking into Best Western-Independence, MO. I made this reservation earlier in the day due to not knowing how long we would be able to be on the road as we traveled to our destination. One night stay on Friday the 22nd. We stay at a lot of Best Westerns and have not had any issues. There was long hair on the bathroom floor and the tub/shower was dirty with hair in it as well. So we knew the room was not clean. The floors (carpet) in the hallways were filthy and had not been vacuumed. Apparently this was graduation night in KC and we had to attend a funeral and could find no other place to stay.

Stayed here over the holiday weekend. Staff was very friendly. The hotel was very clean as were the rooms. Beds were very comfy and even the pillows were nice and firm. only thing we didn't enjoy was the indoor pool was soooo cold lol but once we got in for a while we enjoyed it as well. Location was great it was off the main road back in a quite area. We would defiantly stay here again.

Very nice place for the price. Big rooms, good tv channels, decent breakfast too.
