Do not stay at this motel, it should be condemned. I spilled some water so I used a white towel to get it up, it was black. While laying in the bed I kept smelling a certain odor,I don’t think the sheets were changed. It basically ruined my road trip and I almost just drove home to San Diego. I was paranoid the whole rest of the trip as to the cleanliness of the rooms where I stayed.
Great location, just down from the boardwalk. Near lots of business. Nice kitchenette, with everything we needed.
we 2 stayed 2 nties. - Location: few minutes to boardwalk and downtown with some good restaurants nearby. - Staff: nice and friendly. Especially 2 girls in the nite shift of 1st night we there, they treated us with big smile and helpful. - Breakfast: 2 days same thing. There are 2 hot foods/boiled eggs/instant oat.....and others good as well. ** However only 1 kind of fruit: red apple but almost not fresh. --Room: so noisy from busy street and from next door (thin wall). Was a business trip booked by my work. Was put up stairs, I asked if I could move downstairs and was told no since it was booked through a 3rd party. It was a room with two rooms with a bed in each room. I only needed 1 bed and was willing to move to a less expensive room downstairs due to disability. Staff acted inconvenienced by my request.
Absolutely horrible rooms. Carpet is filthy, pillows had yellow stains and loose hair on them. Bathroom had pee stains and flies. Not to mention the room has an awful odor. Best Western, what the hell is going on here in Coos Bay?
