Our experience at this hotel, under Ron’s ownership, was a mess. Upon check-in, I specifically confirmed multiple times with the staff that my small dog was allowed. I was told the pet fee was included—no issues. Fast forward one day, suddenly I’m told dogs aren’t allowed, and I was slapped with a $300 cleaning fee. After arguing, that magically dropped to $90—$30 a night—even though my dog was only there one night. Why am I being charged for extra nights? It felt like a random shake-down. We really wanted to like it. Rooms were good but the front desk staff in the morning totally ruined our experience. Checkout was at 11 and even though we’re were checked out we were told my husband couldn’t even stay in the business center working.
I had to make an unexpected overnight stop due to the storms. This place was clean and comfortable. Desk staff Jon was very friendly.
How do you function as a business in America without answering your phone?
Needed a place to crash in a pounding rainstorm as I traveled along I-80. This place is right off the highway, priced right and an easy walk to some restaurants and shops including a Walmart. The room was clean and, best of all, the windows opened to get some fresh air. No complaints.
