Best Western use to be one of my favorite hotels. Not anymore and not just because of this location. Do not book this for reliable/timely shuttle service, friendly staff, good breakfast or quiet rooms. It is acceptable for a bed for 1 night.
If I could give this place less than a star, I would. The staff was okay. We flew in from Atlanta, and we picked this location because of the shuttle. Another couple had already been waiting almost an hour for the shuttle. We finally make it to the hotel, and there's a sign that says shuttle is $15 per person and must be requested at check-in or call ahead 2 hours. 2 hours prior, I was on a plane, so I'm not sure about that. We were at that hotel yesterday. first my wife was sick in the bedroom and the front-desk called her telling her that she needed to leave the bedroom because the carpet guy would clean the carpet in the room then we need to change to another bedroom. After that, day after that, 1:30am a family came inside my room, after the front-desk gave them the same bedroom that we were. Imagine how we were 1:30 am with another person opening our room's door. The hotel is good but their organization and staff are terrible.
Stayed on December 28 for one night prior to a cruise. Terrible check in experience with a dismissive, rude and ambivalent employee. My wife and I arrived ahead of other family members one of whom made the reservation. All family members were named in the reservation with the number of rooms reserved. The employee would not allow us to check in until the family member who made the reservation arrived even though non of the rooms were prepaid.
