Many of the reviews stated this hotel is outdated, run down, and not clean. I stay at a few hotels a year generally in the two to four star range. I found the beds to be worn yet comfortable. The furniture to be in perfect condition even if it's not very current, everything to be clean, and the staff to be friendly. Also, there is daily cleaning. Pros:The service was great, good staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. It was an unexpected stay for me--I booked through Rocket Miles and ten minutes after booking with my phone, I had keys in hand. Nice restaurant and bar. Room was clean. Cons: At 3pm when I checked in, there were people hanging out in the lobby waiting for rooms to be cleaned so they could check in. Seems a bit late in the day to be waiting for a room to be cleaned. The Doublewood Inn delivered spectacular service and allowed our convention to go off without a hitch. Besides the amazing room, management (Especially Brian) took care of us from the beginning and staff were right there to help out throughout. I highly recommend asking the Doublewood to host your event.
Truly delightful service. They picked us up at the airport and gave us a ride back, all free. Refrig. in room, coffee, etc. Adjacent bar is excellent, as is the restaurant.
