We very much enjoyed our stay here. We booked the Pearl suite for our anniversary. It was our first time to Galena and we had a great time. That being said, the hotel needs some serious updates/maintenance and the cleaning staff needs some training. Our room was pretty nice. The room was very quiet and private.The sauna could definitely use serviced as once the jets were on it kept turning on randomly, even after we turned everything off and drained the tub. Overall the room was nice. Ended up having Internet issues on our 2nd night. Neither one of our phones could do casting to the TV. There was also constant buffering issues on the TV itself. The outdated coaxial system needs removed and I believe the hotel itself needs to upgrade it's WiFi system. On top of that is the overall Maintenance of the hotel itself. Nice pool. Good breakfast. No elevator made it kind of an inconvenience.
Parking was free and plentiful, which made it easier to come and go. We used the vending machines a couple of times and they worked fine. Staff seemed a bit rushed but still polite.
