The staff was friendly and the grounds and rooms were clean. Parking was an issue because it's all behind the building. The pool was closed and emptied, but it also wasn't listed as an amenity so it wasn't a disappointment. Breakfast was standard, but wasn't replenished very quickly. Plenty of places nearby to grab food.
We ended up booking here simply because we didn’t want to spend practically an entire paycheck just to stay right in the city. It’s still expensive but way better than the other options. We see lots of bad reviews on this hotel but honestly our experience was fine. I’m not going to lie it wasn’t anything spectacular but we had an easy check in process and our room was very clean. A bonus is that if you get here before it’s too late you can park on the side of the building in a covered parking spot.
Value for money place. Rooms & service: small rooms but comfortable beds. Bathroom was extremely small with sink outside of the washroom was bit strange. Service was okay apart from the fact we mentioned to clean our rooms on the first day when we went out, only to learn it wasn't cleaned. When called, receptionist said, oh it seems we missed it.
