In my 43 years I've never had this much to say in a hotel review, or any review. But I couldn't help acknowledging how pleasant of a stay I had at Best Western Southwest Denver. Tl;dr - Great staff, comfy room. Highly recommend for a no frills, homey stay. First, I had no idea when I booked that the hotel doubles as a mini dinosaur museum. Edit to add: Filed with the Better Business Bureau. Case closed when they stopped responding after I refused best western gift cards or wait a month for a paper check. I will be escalating further. I arrived at the Best Western Denver Southwest at approximately 2:30am on the morning of Saturday, August 1st 2026. Clean facility, breakfast was ok, staff was friendly, easy access for cars & normal size trucks, cameras in parking area (maybe more). Will stay at this again.
The stay was Great, the pool was a little neglected but the hot tub made up for it 😁
I’ve been staying at this hotel for over 20 years and remained loyal because of the superb experience I consistently had. Unfortunately, that has changed significantly in recent years, and this will be my last stay. The pool area is no longer well maintained, particularly the hot tub, which has repeatedly malfunctioned.
