Newly renovated lovely decor = 10/10 !! Luxury at an affordable price price point ! The pool was pristine , the rooms were clean exceptional. Wish the mattresses were a lil better but it was a great stay. Do note there is no elevator so if you can’t do a flight of stairs or have lots of luggage book early to secure a 1st floor accommodation! Tru Soul Food is just down the way it’s the best!!!!
When you first walk into the lobby you are greeted with a slight damp/mildew smell. The AC was on but for some reason it still felt warm and damp. I'm pretty sure the guy working the desk does every position there as he was upstairs when we checked in and he also did the breakfast. There are only 2 floors and no elevator. There is however a small handicap elevator that would be big enough for one person (I don't know if it was in working order or not as we didn't try it or see anyone use it, but it was there as an option).
