Nothing was as advertised. “Resort” area was ran down and nasty, tiki bar was closed even thought it was advertised. Customer service was terrible after I asked for a refund and to check out then next day, was told I could leave but they would be keeping my money. Wouldn’t come here ever again
My experience at this hotel was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, the lobby was uncomfortably hot, causing me to sweat while I waited to check in. I was informed that I couldn’t check in yet but was allowed to leave my car; when I requested a parking pass, I was told I would be fine without a pass. After returning from the beach around 4:30 PM, I was relieved to find my vehicle still in the lot, as there was a tow truck present. Unfortunately the smell of mold and mildew is overwhelming. It hit really badly in the night. You can see the mold coming through the ceiling. I had to sleep (barely) with a t shirt over my face because I could not breathe it in. The room looks nice and was clean but the best part was getting out of there! If you can’t handle smells and want to breathe, don’t stay there. At least on the 3rd floor where we were. The rooms were nice except there was beach sand all in the carpet. It was sort of gross. Obviously there wasn’t a vacuum that was ran through there before my visit. The humidifier was full of water. So it wasn’t set for the next guest. Also the pool was disgusting . A lot of debate in the pool. I had hair wrapped around my hand a couple times. The water was a little cloudy. Very nasty. Wasn’t as clean as it should have been. Day lobby staff are rude. Not very friendly at all. PARKING IS NOT FREE!
