Noooooo pool. Apparently it is listed in the fine print. But not easily seen. No discount was given. Nor a care was given. We were told they would that refund us for the room. But good luck finding another room. The whole town was booked. Nothing like being taken advantage of... And telling our little kids there is no pool for the weekend. It would also appear that the pool is down until at least January. We asked what all they offer for families, and were told, Nothing... But said that have a mini bar.. No good here... Have stayed here numerous times. This time, very disappointed that the pool and hot tub were not operational. The day before we arrived, I booked the room using the Best Western website. I specifically looked to see about pool. The website made no comment that the pool was closed for maintenance. When we arrived, the desk clerk informed us of this. I made a comment that the pool was important to our stay. The clerk said "Sorry". It is very disappointing that the room rate was not reduced when this amenity was not available.
This was an absolute terrible choice for 5 nights. This hotel is understaffed so as you show up to check in, you are told the swimming pool and hot tub are out of service. They are not out of service. They are not paying staff to service and monitor those amenities, so they close them. This is not shared with patrons before they get to the front desk. This hotel is a scam. The front desk employees are rude, undertrained, and short-handed, leaving them to bartend part time, and sit behind their desk on their phones ignoring c... read more
