I purchased a duct cleaning voucher through Groupon and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. As soon as the technician arrived (about an hour late), he immediately began pointing out what he claimed was “mold” in my vents. He had a template ready and strongly pressured me to approve an additional $500 mold remediation on the spot. I got Groupon to get my ducts and vents cleaned. Mike picked up and asked me how long my vent was cleaned and said it is so dirty that it will need to be brushed. I don’t have 20 vents he counted 20 somehow. And didn’t use brush to more than two and used vacuum to just vacuum half the vents by lifting lid and charged me $500+ He was good to talk but pushed hard to sell.
