16 years ago I bought the sweetest Cockatiel from Best Pets when they were next to Piggly Wiggly. I lost him at the age of 15. I immediately went back to Best Pets to get another one because they take time to hand feed them so they are very tame when you buy one. I had to be put on a waiting list because so many people wanted one and they only get a few in every six months or so. We came into Best Pets Thursday night to see if there were any kittens left to adopt. There ended up being only one kitten left to adopt and he was an absolute angel. They saved him and his siblings from the one of the buildings outside and took care of them (including getting them checked/shots at the vet). Our kitten Jack is SO friendly & well mannered. I am so grateful for meeting Steve the owner of best pets. He was willing and able to take in my pitbull/boxer mix to try and get adopted. I had inherited the dog from a family who ended up being allergic. I could only take care of it so much and he deserves much better. He was a great puppy and it hurt to see him go but I hope some family will find him and be able to provide him a great home. Thank you so much Steve!
always bring my African Grey parrot to have his nails trimmed here. He's not a friendly bird, but Best Pets always handles him perfectly!!
