Frank came to help with our 7 month old mutt that we adopted. He was so calm, gentle and knowledgeable our dog responded so well to him. Would recommend Best Paw Forward for training needs!
We called Frank to help with our 1 year old GSP named Cash. From the first lesson, Cash was a totally different dog. With Franks help and guidance, Cash went from jumping on everyone he saw, not being able to be walked on a leash, and generally just being “bullheaded”. Frank has helped so much and Cash’s manners are a night and day difference. We recommend Best Paw Forward without hesitation!!!
We used Best Paw Forward for our rescue pointer mix, Brody, who was fear aggressive. Frank was great to work with! He focused on the exact needs of Brody and was able to teach us appropriate training tactics to help him overcome his fear and build confidence. We had a great experience getting trained by Frank! Understanding that we need to be consistent and follow through with what he has taught us, so that our dog can learn the commands and proper responses. She has already improved so much. We are happy that we invested in her now, so she can be the best dog she can be, and we can be the best dog owners we can be!
Different trainers have different methods, and we found that Frank's method worked particularly well for us and our dog. Frank taught us how to better lead our dog, and we've noticed marked improvement as we've practiced his training techniques. He worked with us and our dog both at our home and at a nearby park, which gave us the opportunity to practice and receive feedback in different environments. Thanks to Frank's help, we are more confident handlers and our dog is more relaxed knowing we're in charge.
Used Best paw forward for our goldendoodle and husky, both needed refreshers on basic obedience and to help with their reactiveness to other dogs on walks. Gave us better ways to reinforce what they had been learning. He helped train us for how to continue training them! Would very much recommend Frank!
Although Frank is very nice, we saw no results from his training. We contacted him specifically for help with house breaking a puppy that we are struggling with. We have house broken three other dogs before but this one is proving to be a challenge. After paying for two sessions specific for house training, we still have a puppy who will only poop in the house.
