Sit in the bar area. Peanuts all over the place is a great start. Good rotation of beers on tap. Grab the platter for 2 and you will take home 4 lbs of food when ur done. It's all good

I don't review places often but feel the need to on this one as a public service. Service was not great but it was kind of endearing as our obviously new waitress tried. The food was awful though. The burnt ends were just fat and gristle cut up, charred, and slathered in sauce. It was shameful. As for highlights, they have sweet potato tots which I don't think can be messed up. The rest of the meat was technically edible, but over cooked to the point of being slightly drier than sand.

My hubby and I split the brisket and pulled pork combo with fried okra and kale slaw with bread pudding for dessert. I liked the brisket best and he liked the pulled pork best, but both were very happy with the selection. They have several homemade sauces, which were lots of fun to try - all were pretty tasty. The fried okra was a nice change of pace from french fries, and they hit it out of the park with the kale slaw. I am always trying to find ways to choke down kale and I gobbled it right up.
