RecommendedI have been taking my Moluccan Cockatoo, Sinbad, to Best Friends for over 20 years. I find everyone at the hospital to be friendly, professional, efficient, and caring. Each time I’ve contacted them I am responded to quickly. I also board Sinbad at Best Friends. She loves it there. Dr. Hollifield and her team literally saved our dog's life. When our dog couldn't stand up we rushed him to the vet and found out that he had both a vestibular disease and a very distended stomach that required surgery. Her team cleared their schedule to get him right in. Two weeks later and he's wagging his tail and back to being the hound dog we know and love. They're great at what they do but they also care. Dr. Hollifield is knowledgeable about pet rats. She's my vet for any exotic pet I would ever adopt. She's a gentle soul who truly loves animals. Her compassion shines through. I respect her greatly. I give this vet clinic 5 stars for respecting animals & their humans. Oh, & Dr. Hollifield is smart and gifted as well as kind. What a wonderful combination!
Dr. Hollifield is an knowledgeable vet and very personable. My Bichon had his teeth cleaned and had to have extractions. Rocky was fine and never in any pain. The staff at the hospital was wonderful to my little guy. I would recommend Best Friends to anyone that is in search of a veterinarian or has urgent needs for their pets.
Just got back from taking my rat here to get a wound in his tummy stitched up. Dr. Hollifield took great care of my little boy. The techs up front were amazing, as well! I’m used to getting weird stares and sly jabs, even from animal lovers, about having rats — however, they were super happy to have him in and made sure both of us felt comfortable. A great experience for the two of us all around.
