We have been boarding our second dog at Best Friends Pet Hotel since 2023 with zero issues, but our recent experience was a complete nightmare. A couple of hours after dropping our dog off, ( 3 yrs old) we received a call from Alex claiming our dog showed "aggressive" behavior and had to be picked up immediately. We had explicitly told staff at drop-off that we were traveling out of town. When somebody calls internationally to check on their dog, have some decency to allow them to get a word in before placing them on hold. God forbid it’s an emergency, you’ll be waiting for these rude receptionists. Update: Alex thinks it’s ok to put ppl on hold without letting them get a word in because he’s busy. I can’t wait on hold when I’m calling internationally, simply tell me what time I should call back (or you’ll call back) instead of me wasting $50 spending 10 minutes calling back and forth being put on hold 4x.
