Beware – We left our dog for six days. I gave them seven individual daily portions of food in zipper seal bags plus two treats per day; all with her name on each bag. They said they ran out of food on the fifth day. The REAL ISSUE was the TICK infestation. Upon picking her up we discovered ticks. We found ten to begin. Then after bathing her with flea and tick shampoo we found more. We took her to the vet to get bathed. They found seven more. It did not end there. This dog has never had any fleas or ticks. Clean safe and fun – We have been using best friends for several years and it has always been a pleasant experience. Our two dogs are always happy clean and well cared for. They get so excited when we turn down their road! We would never go anywhere else; all of our friends use them and it seems every vet and tech and the emergency clinic trusts them as well. If our veterinary clinic and emergency clinic uses them and recommends them they have to be and are simply the best!

My Dogs Are Family Here – Aside from the fact that it's all inside, this is the best kennel I've ever entrusted my dogs to. I leave them with Best Friends usually once or twice a month for long weekends, and a couple times a year for a longer (week +) stay. They come back exactly the way they went in, happy, beautiful, relaxed. One of my big boys even jumps on the door to open it when we get there. Absolutely the best in pet care! – This place is so adorable and everone that works there is highly educated in their field. They love what they are doing and it shows. Molly thinks she is going to play with all of her friends when I ask her if she wants to go to camp--that is what we call Best Friends. They have so many activities to choose from, they can even have a holiday meal or ice cream delivered to their room. Crappy customer service – I was initially happy to recommend Best Friends for boarding, however that is no longer the case. The policy for cancellation is very unfair & when confronted for a reconsideration - the female manager was very unhelpful! I made a reservation one week prior to drop-off & when I tried to cancel the reservation 5 days prior to drop-off (only 2 business days later)...I was told my $75.00 deposit was non-refundable! I went away on vacation and left my wheaten there. My dog came back 2 pounds lighter and completely matted. All they do is feed and board, they do not even provide the basic needs that a dog (especially a long haired breed) requires. My dog was returned to me with clumps of mats the size of my fist; beginning from the top of her head going around her ears all the way down her chest.
