If you love your dog, don't let him stay here – Awful, I would give 0 stars if I could. When I checked in, I specfically told them my dog couldn't be put on a neck collar and leash as he has a very sensitive neck and possible collapsing trachea (small dog). I left my harness there for him and they told me it wouldn't be a problem. When I picked him up, they HANDED me his harness and brought him out on neck collar and leash. REALLY?? If they couldn't comply with one simple request, they SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME UP FRONT! My dog ca... read more

The Best Home Away From Home for Fido – Lady loves staying at the Best Friends Pet Resort when we must board her. We never worry about our chocolate lab Lady knowing the staff at Best Friends is her babysitter. And, twice I was running late from the airport, but they stayed open to let me pick her up. Only a real animal lover offers that type of care. Five stars for this home away from home.

WONDERFUL!!!!!!! GREAT STAFF, CLEAN FACILITY, & HAPPY PETS!! – I just got back from a trip out of the country and while I was away I boarded my 1 year old beagle at Best Friends Houston for 2 weeks. The staff there are SO GREAT! They answer any questions you have, will give you a tour of the facility if you ask and are just so friendly! They even emailed me pictures of my boy while he was in doggy day camp playing! I felt completely comfortable letting them take care of my baby while I was away. Exceptional Service! – I have taken my 4 dogs to many boarding facilties over the years and Best Friends is by far the cleanest and friendliest place to go. They happliy took me on a tour where I saw large bedrooms and even larger patios that were exclusive to each bedroom. The place smelled very clean and all of the dogs ther looked happy. Just two days after I boarded my dogs, they sent me an email with a picture of them playing in the yards. I LOVE Best Friends! – Best Friends is fantastic and my little guy (Ollie) loves going there! Ollie goes to 'school' (ie Doggie Day Care) 2 or 3 times per week, boards with them several weeks per year and this is the only place where he is groomed. (And the best part about Doggie Day Care is that Ollie is exhausted and drops after a day of playing with all his buddies! :-) ) The staff is always very caring, considerate and concerned - they know Ollie and, more importantly, he absolutely adores them! Our dog loves Pet Motel – We have been taking our dog, a border collie, to Pet Motel for her whole life -- she is now 15. She loves going there, they recognize her when she comes in. She has never come home sick or hurt, the groomers are great. The one other time we took her to another place (because Pet Motel was full) she cam home sick. They give her medicine on time, feed her, take her for walks and runs and treats. We would never take our animal to another kennel.

I don't know what I would have done...... – .....without my friends at BFPC. I moved back to the Chicago area from Austin Texas 2 1/2 years ago. I came back for a great job, but could not sell my house in Texas. My dog, Princess Pooka, and I lived with family till my house sold. This living out of a suitcase was hard on my little sheltie. Second to None.... – I have been bringing my dog Lilly to Best Friends for over 2 years for daycare, boarding and grooming. I initially had Lilly in a kennel for daycare until the staff suggested I try her in the group DayCamp. I was a bit nervous about how she would handle being in a room with so many other dogs, but the professional staff monitored her and the other dogs closely and sure enough she passed the screening. Best Friends is Just Like Home! – I had a very needy little beagle, who was only used to being with myself or my husband...until he went to Best Friends.
