Not normally one to do this, but here it goes: After a weekend away from home, I picked up my dog, Miley, this morning from the “Best Friend Pet Hotel” to find that they completely shaved off her top coat. When I dropped her off I spoke with the groomer and the one instruction I passed along was “just trim her up and please don’t shave her”...so to say I was shocked to find her looking like this was an understatement. Our dog Bernie loves being able to run and play with other dogs at doggy day care. We used Best Friends for boarding over the holidays and loved that we were able to watch him on the webcam. Being a rescue, were a little nervous about how Bernard would behave around other dogs. The staff was very understanding of our concerns and even gave us a report card for him to let us know how he did. The dogs are well cared for and seem to have so much fun. I love having the reassurance my pup is in good hands! I take him to daycare at least 3 days a week! I would recommend Connie for grooming , my pup loves her!

Worst customer service ever... my very first experience of getting my dog groomed and they took her away into the grooming area, one of the employees went into ask the groomer something and my dog got loose...if someone was walking into the building she would have been gone! They didn’t even flinch...or notice or acted like they were concerned! Big lesson learned.... they don’t care!

The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make Sunshine feel comfortable. They take such good care of Sunshine when ever she stays there!

The staff go out of their way every day in public or in private to play with solitary animals, cuddle a sad critter, to the point where are dogs have as many friends as groups of preschoolers! Thank you for loving our dogs!

Of course I love this place! We are the BEST place in Carmel for your pet to play, get groomed, take training classes, be socialized and more!

My Boxer-Mix Sasha LOVES puppy day care at Best Friends Carmel. I can't provide enough physical activity for my girl (despite 1 hour jogs and multiple ball sessions every day) so Best Friends is my savior. I try to take Sasha a couple times a month and it does wonders for helping control her high energy. The groomers do an awesome job too. Sasha was horribly neglected/abused before I rescued her and as such, I wouldn't leave her at Best Friends if I didn't trust them.
