About 18 months ago, Best Electric (now part of ABC Plumbing, Sewer, Heating, Cooling & Electric) installed a Briggs & Stratton standby generator at my home. The generator is now in a fault/default state, and Briggs has diagnosed the root cause as an issue with the natural gas plumbing feeding the unit — the same installation ABC's team performed. They requested $700 upfront for a switch repair. Made an appointment 3 days in advance. No one showed up on the day of the appointment or contacted me. Have requested a refund, and hope it comes through.

STAY AWAY! My elderly parents called to have a floodlight replaced. My mother purchased the replacement, and had it in hand when the tech arrived. The job took 20 minutes and they charged her $385. She called to ask why it was so expensive, and never received a return call. It is disgraceful to prey on elderly adults this way. The company needs to make this right.
