The 4-star rating is the average of Best Choice (5 stars) and the sub-contractor (3 stars) which is a generous rating for the sub. Would I recommend Best Choice – Yes, but would caution how much you, as the homeowner, should monitor how the work is progressing. Best Choice Home Remodeling was brought in by my landlord to work on our kitchen and bathroom. Mold had been discovered, and Best Choice was brought in after the remediation company to put everything back together. Robert was the lead guy on site, and he ensured all work was done in a timely, professional manner. I will recommend Best Choice Home Remodeling to everyone. I have never had to replace a roof, or have a house painted, so understandably, I was nervous. From Deven I sales, to Jr and all his crew in roofing, to Fernando and Jose doing all the painting, to Robert, the foreman on the job overseeing everything to Trisha in the office, everything went through without a problem. In the fall of 2024 our PTA at Ocean Beach Elementary collaborated with Best Choice Home Remodeling to beautify our school. Chuck Miles helped to transform a part of our campus that was unusable. He and his team created a zen garden for our students. This not only beautified our campus, it also has made a significant impact on our students mental health. Best Choice Home Remodeling of Poway Ca is an excellent company. Their staff was educated well on every aspect of the work we required. We needed stucco patching & repair of texture coating by previous company. They did more thorough work. They also pointed out cracks in exterior wall of house & repaired all of those. They replaced rotted wood on fascia & repainted to match. They even found places that needed it which we had not noticed. They water sealed the base of our home before beginning work.
