Thank God for Dr. Tang! How refreshing to see a veterinarian is actually CARES about the animals more than the money! This man is extremely knowledgeable and uses good common sense when treating. Not every dog who throws up needs X Rays or $600. tests...though I would never refuse those if needed. I was lost when my Vet moved away and sold his practice to some very greedy people, who don't give a rat's about those they treat. I drive from Pasadena to Glendale to see Dr. Tang. The staff is wonderful, as well.
Discriminatory and Unprofessional I called due to good reviews. The first question I was asked, was how old my dog is (he is 11yrs) and they said 'Dr. Tang is not excepting new patients.' I followed up with 'if he had been a puppy, would it make a difference?' and the answer was YES. This is discriminatory and bad business, in my opinion and very unprofessional.
RUN from this quack. I think Dr. Tang is the worst vet. We brought our cat in because he was lethargic and had lost weight suddenly. Dr. Tang said we should be thankful he lost some weight, didn't even examine the cat, and told us nothing was wrong. Went out of town because of work and when we returned the cat seemed worse. Well, another vet found a mass in our cat's stomach and 12 days later he died. The cat was 8 years old. I can handle rude: he is incompetent. Great Care with No Pressure We have been taking all our cats to Dr Tang for over 10 years now and found him to be very compassionate and very knowledgable. He and his techs always are so gentle with our cats as if they were their own. Dr Tang also gives you all the options of care based on the animal's & owner's needs without pushing his own personal choice. If you are looking for a new vet or changing vets then Dr Tang is the vet to see.
Best Care Pet Clinic is a LIFE SAVER!!! Dr. Tang is contracted with the Burbank animal shelter among others, but that is where I was first introduced to him when I got my rescue MAGIC. He has taken great care of Magic of course. Than I adopted a kitten which he did great work on, but I gave the kitten away when I moved last year. Best Care Pet Clinic is The Best Dr. Tang has been caring for my cats for almost 20 years. He use to work at a Vet. Clinic near me and then started his own Clinic. I live in Alhambra and drive my cats to Glendale just so that he can take care of them. Dr. Tang is the most experienced, knowledgeable and trust worth Veterinarian I have ever known, and I recommend him to all my pet owning friends. Caring and helpful I have been bringing my boxer here for about 6 months now. She loves visiting the staff, they are always friendly and she wiggles her butt when she sees them. They have given her top notch care. This is my first dog and they were very informative to go through all the spaying information with me. The best in Los Angeles I have been going to Dr. Tang for almost 20 years! Over that 20 years I've taken 3 dogs and 4 cats to him with nothing but the best care. I trust Dr. Tang implicitly and respect his opinion. He diagnosed my cat with cancer and never brought up euthanizing her. When I asked if euthanizing was the best idea after receiving treatment options, he told me that I would be doing her a favor. Dr. Tang Rocks!! I drive from Palmdale to see him. He saved me $1,000.00 one time when a vet in Plamdale wanted to do surgery and it turned out the dog just had an infection. It really isn't about the money with him. He really does care for your pets! Michele C.
