I had a terrible experience today. My computer got stuck in a startup repair loop and I couldn't fix it. I didn't want to deal with Dell so I tried to call Geek Squad. After a long hold time they would not connect me to Geek Squad desk at the actual store and they said first appointment was Sept. 20. The represtentative suggested that I walk in anyway. My husband and I bought an Xbox one s for our son for Christmas, the purchase was made on October 22,2019. On December 25,2019 our son opened the box and surprise!! the console that was inside the Xbox box was an used Xbox 360. I have been trying to reach Best Buy with a simple question for nearly an hour. No one is picking up the phone, no matter which department I call. I waited on hold for 25 minutes to speak to Geek Squad--no one ever picked up. Called several other departments, same thing. It's a Thursday at 3 pm. They can't be THAT busy!
Their employees don’t know what they’re talking about. They just make up answers. They also don’t return phone calls. They transfer calls without any introduction, making it necessary to tell the same story over and over. I am done with Best Buy. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
I have now been waiting on hold for over 1 hour and 10 minutes to reschedule the installation of my frig which they did not install in my basement yesterday, instead leaving it in my garage. Best Buy customer service is awful! How long I have been waiting on hold to speak to someone.
