As manny reviews have already shown.... I ordered this open box as “excellent” with all original parts.... I pick up and a main component, the remote control is missing. “Beth” refused to come and speak to me and I was left with Eric the “manager on duty”. We have had the most horrible customer service. I had a dishwasher delivered and it was damaged so I refused it. Was told I would get a call the next day to reschedule a delivery. Never heard from anyone so I called. An hour later I was told the someone would call me the next day. and I would be called about 5 pm. Unacceptable!!! Now I will have to wait until next week to get it delivered. We can’t even reach a human being at the store. Very poor service!
Best Buy’s Smart Home installation service, in the Austin-Georgetown area, is terrible...They are driving me to Amazon...After sitting around, all day, they “no-showed” us on an installation....No call, no apology for wasting your time/day...Nothing...The manager of the Georgetown store convinced us not to refund, but to let her escalate the installation, of which they charge an arm and a leg, and asked us wait by the phone another 4 hours for the escalation team to call....Another wasted effort...These people have zero resp... read more
Best Buy has a terrible reputation and they work very hard to maintain it. My son and I just stopped by to pick up a laptop for college and they wanted ya to sign up for an online account then after that sign up for “student deals.” The whole point of all of that was to get a $150 off coupon. We waited for several minutes and all the emails with the coupons never showed up and they told us the server gets backlogged and it sometimes takes 30 minutes to get the coupons. 9 times outta 10 when u call u get Pflugerville? Then when u ask to be connected to the ACTUAL store your calling u get to listen to a phone ring 4ever. Tonight I actually got thru to the store, looking for RCA to bare wire to hook up some speakers, guy who answered said "well I only see 1 rca to rca on here, probably cuz its old technology, we have composite left/right/video cables" I informed the idiot thats the same thing as RCA, he said he could connect me with home theater, yes please, someone who hopefully knows more, ... read more
