had a satin dress hemmed/altered and they got it done within 2 weeks without $$$ additional fees; dress looks great, price was <$100; would recommend!
She did an excellent job tailoring a long wool coat and on short notice as well. I will definitely go to her again for future tailoring needs.
I unfortunately had a very bad experience at this alterations business. I gave the lady 5 weeks to do a simple hem. I made it very clear I wanted the dress to be hemmed 2 inches off the ground. 2 days before I was supposed to pick up the dress, she calls me to ask if I can come in that day to try on the dress before she finishes it. That day I go in and the dress is unrecognizable. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the dress she was supposed to hem, she made completely "new". I lost some weight and my two leather jackets were too big. She did a wonderful job, they are fit die well. Really great!
