Today I was very impressed! Food was great!!! Much improved since the last time i went in about a year ago.
COFFEE IS TERRIBLE, Cute place, food was good, hardly any hashbtowns with our breakfast sandwiches
I came into town to visit friends . They talked very highly of this place upon arriving we where not greeted my buddies wife had to get up and get our menu's after 10 minutes a lady came over said what can I get you ? To which my buddy replied "service" the lady identified herself as the owner and said "if we don't like it we could leave " in a snotty tone I ordered in attempt to squash it after our orders where taken the "owner" brought me coffee ignoring if the other two people wanted something besides water after 20+ minu... read more
Being new to the area we are making an attempt to visit local small businesses. We found Bert's Cafe to be clean, friendly, and the food was very good. The homemade fries (though many sides were offered) were excellent, and the bread/buns were so fresh! Two of us had hamburgers, one had a Ruben, and one a club sandwich. We can't wait to go back and try the breakfast.
We had a great experience here! Little mom and pop shop, friendly staff, reasonable prices, good food! We will be back!
