Insurance companies can play dirty and Carrie and her team came to bat for me. Very appreciative and encourage others to not give up when facing Goliath mega corporations with no ethics even if it means having to spend the money on hiring a paralegal like Carrie.

Bertrand paralegal takes a retainer $1695 which I thought would help with cost planning. However she does not let you know when it’s run out and continues to bill into next retainer without any pre-approval or awareness at 175/hour. In this case it was an extra $1100, and then demands payment and threatens to sue. They billed over 12 hours at $175 an hour to “read e mails.” FYI- You can file your own claim in small claim court for $100 online.
