Dr. Chinn performed my colon resection 22 years ago and has monitored me ever since. I need some additional surgery now (too many polyps) and there is no question he will perform it. I have absolute confidence in him.
Wonderful experience with Dr Chinn. He is a warm, and wonderful surgeon. I arrived from a trip to the ER and he took great care of me. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. During the following days and weeks he and his team were responsive and available when I had questions. I highly recommend becoming his patient!
Dr Chinn performed surgery on a dear friend to remove a polyp on his intestine He nicked his liver which caused many complications which I Surely shortened his life. He lost 50 pounds and had multiple organ failures. At an hospital in Nashville emergency procedures and appropriate medications saved his life. Unfortunately this dear man passed away Other doctors attributed the error made by Dr Chinn contributed to this. Please go to someone else. There are many other skilled surgeons so do your homework. Performed a right colectomy on me and has done two colonoscopies on me. He has terrific bedside manner and is very knowledgeable in his field.
I was not happy with this doctor. He promised me a reversal 6 months after my illeostomy surgery then 1 1/2 years later he tells me I would have the bag permanently. He also acted as if he did not know my medical history when he was the one who did my surgery. I’m soGlad I found a better surgeon now and was able to get what was promised, my reversal. I don’t recommend this doctor.
Dr. Chinn was professional, knowledgeable, caring and kind. Our interaction from consultation through colonoscopy treatment was seamless, professional and excellent experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Chinn and all the caring staff at the Watchung Surgicenter.
I had an ongoing intestinal problem and in 9 years had 12 colonoscopies, and 11 different doctors. A friend, who had been over the nursing staff of 2 major hospitals recommended Dr. Chinn. He is one of the most caring doctors I have ever been to. He answered my concerns and questions patiently, even sat with my husband and answered his 'extensive ' questions. Surgery was successful and I would recommend him to anyone suffering from colon issues!
My experience with Dr. Chinn could not have been better. He spent a considerable amount of time with me on my office visit and answered all of my questions. I did not feel rushed at all. The procedure went well and he explained the results in detail. I wouldn't think of using another doctor.
I have been through 3 surgeries with Dr. Chinn now & I could not imagine trusting another doctor the way I trust him. He feels like family & makes unfortunate situations more tolerable & less anxious. He draws pictures, answers and listens to questions thoroughly to help you understand. I feel very lucky!
