If I ever move back to Missoula it will be in large part due to Bernice's granola (the chewy one scented with orange) I dream about that stuff....sigh
I like their concept and the atmosphere. I love their design and think there is a lot of creative talent. The big problem I have with this bakery is their pricing. I can purchase an Everything bagel, Cream cheese and a small drip coffee at the GFS for what it cost here to purchase a muffin smaller than my fist, and I have small hands. I'd rather spend $2.95 on a bagel and cream cheese with coffee than a tiny muffin. Surprised and delighted to be watching a program on PBS about bakeries (A Few Great Bakeries) when suddenly a unique and fabulous bakery from my childhood and hometown is highlighted! I was delighted to see the original location and DVDs the original owner mentioned. I remember Becky and receiving free treats from her. I had the absolute most heavenly cupcake ever from here the other day! It was my first time coming in and it was such a great experience. Everyone is so nice and the environment is so welcoming and cozy!
