He's an amazing physician. He has been treating my son for autism for years. He's kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. My son is very comfortable with him & that says a lot. I would highly recommend him. If you want a physician that'll put your child's needs first & will always have your best interests, he is who you want.
This guy told me my daughter is not autistic because she can identify things me and her therapist also her early schooling the county helped me get her into has been working with her for almost 3 years also told me she doesn’t drool nor is she in a wheel chair so she is not autistic just delayed. When asked for him to do a MRI or genesis test he said no and compared my daughter to a picture of a car in his office. Saying he wouldn’t be able to see nothing and he will not sedate her to do it. We have been seeing Dr. Flasterstein for several years. Since his local office closed, we travel a half hour so that we can continue to see him. We have recommend several people to him and all were pleased.
My son has had persistent headaches for over one month. Dr. Flasterstein took his time and listened to every word. He conducted all kinds of tests in his office and than scheduled other testing. He is thorough and definitely knows his craft!!!!
He has a sign saying "don't confuse google with my medical degree" on his office wall. Too bad his medical degree is so long ago and he has not kept himself abreast of anything since. He needs to get abreast on current thought and treatment of some neurological disorders. He nitpicked every word out of mouth to correct my choice of words and came to a conclusion about my son without ever speaking to him except for asking his age.
Dr. Flasterstein is amazing! Only go to his practice if you are willing to deal with a staff that is not willing to communicate and assist patients.
Have been seeing Dr Flasterstein for several years. He is a very experienced neurologist. We always have a good experience at the office. He has helped my child's headaches and she such a better quality of life now.
He is very nice doctor. He has seen my baby since birth in the NICU. Very caring and knowledgeable. He made sure he answered all my questions and made sure I had everything I needed before I left.
Although the wait time is long, it is usually full of patients so it's to be expected with any specialist doctor you'd visit (I too work in the medical field). I've taken my son here a few times since he's been diagnosed with epilepsy. The doctor reads my son's EEG the very same day and gives me the results right after. No loss of records from place to place. My son loves his magic tricks and free animal crackers. The ladies that make up the staff are very friendly! Tip: be patient.
