We met with agent, Jody; we told her we were looking for an acreage where we could have horses and other livestock. She showed us an acreage just outside of Humboldt, NE. It looked great and we made and offer and gave a deposit. We found later that it was in the city limits and livestock was not allowed. We wanted to back out of the deal, she convinced us to wait for 3 weeks to see if the city would give us an exemption. We waited for the meeting and the city gave us permission to keep only 2 horses.
