Both Don Perez and Ben Perez are the best ophthalmologists in the Tampa Bay Area. They’re courteous, professional and talents as surgeons is phenomenal. Empathetic and kind. I recommend these doctors to all.
Poor communication, rude staff, and antiquated systems, including no patient portal. I attempted to communicate with staff and/or doctor via email, but there was no response, despite a follow-up call and follow-up email. It was only when an outside pharmaceutical representative let them know they were in danger of losing a patient (and the lucrative income from an expensive treatment plan) that a staff member called and left a message. Dr Benny Perez saw me on his day off many many years ago. I had an eye infection and he was so understanding and kind. I'm so glad your practice is going so well!
I was involved in a glaucoma study under Dr. Perez for over 2 years, and his entire staff and himself were such a pleasure to work with. Dr. Perez was professional, and caring for the patient.
Both brothers are really good eye surgeons!
Dr Perez , and his brother Don are two great specialists in ophthalmology , They make a good team together excellent , and all the staff is also great very skilled and cordial , I highly recommend , this professionals .
My mother was a patient. She had three surgeries. Paid over 1000.00 dollars out of pocket!! On her last appointment was turned away because she had a 303.00 balance which she was going to pay 150.00 of it. Was told that the dr. would not see her unless her balance was paid in full!! Awful customer service! How can you turn a patient that had been seeing and paying for over a year and half for a measly 300 dollars!!!! Would never recommend the Perez's !!!!!!
