I'm a relatively new diesel-powered RV owner. The rig has a Freightliner chassis, so it needs to be serviced at an appropriate service center and many truck centers frown on servicing RVs because they are somewhat different. Last year, my first year of ownership, I brought it to Berman Freightliner and they were very helpful, walking me through the recommended services for the chassis and generator, but avoiding unnecessary items due to the low mileage on the chassis.
