I thought I'd give it a go on a "learn to row" day fully intending not to start a new sport. Now I'm in my 2nd year, rowing (with coaches) 3x a week with a fantastic group of people (of all skill levels) and I learn something new every day. Being out on the water in the early morning all summer and into fall is so good for the mind and body. Highly recommend.
Everyone at Berkshire Community Rowing is friendly and welcoming, and Onota Lake is incredibly beautiful, especially in the early morning. The equipment is carefully well-maintained and high quality. BCR is exactly what a great small rowing club should be, cannot recommend more highly.
