I don't usually do reviews, but I recently had such a positive experience with Berkshire Fence Company in Pittsfield, that I have to share it. From Sherrie in the office, to Matt with whom I mostly spoke, to George and his crew who did the repairs, all were friendly, dependable, and professional! My 6 foot cedar fence was installed 20+ years ago (by another company), and it's still standing but needs occasional repair. Very disappointed in the beginning but truly miserable now. This project (close to 150 feet of wood privacy fence) was done November 2025, after waiting many months they finally began work in the snow. Multiple problems arose from their truck missing the driveway and damaging the yard (that I was told they would fix), to gaps that could not be securely fenced (that I was assured would be covered when they were done), to the the equipment they drove around the yard making ruts and holes because of the wet snow covered ground.... read more
