Very poor quality and terrible customer service once they’ve got you to close on the home
Beware! If you are planning to buy a Berks Homes. While the quality is good, my Lawn was not put in until August and I closed in March. It was supposed to be in by June 2 but they made excuses, all the while putting in yards for homes that closed long after me. During the wait, I lived with mud, dirt/dust and a mess for those 5 months. And they just kept on making excuses. They pushed, pushed, pushed for me to close with so much unfinished. If you are thinking about buying a Berks Home, or having one built by them, you should take a ride by the Rolling Meadows development at the corner of Yarnall Rd and Moyer Rd in New Hanover Township (Montgomery County). The place is a wreck. People are still living with temporary propane cylinders instead of a gas hook-up to the street after more than a year of digging, re-digging and other construction debacles.
