I've always been very well taken of at WVU medical ER. I've even had to stay in the ER several nights waiting for a bed on a med-surge unit upstairs. I didn't appreciate being moved throughout the ER to 3 different rooms. That is a huge flaw upper management needs to address. The staff are very courteous and attentive. The food is top notch for a hospital. Other than having to sit in a room with people gagging, coughing, puking, cursing and kids screaming for a period of time, I have no concerns.
This ER is clean and they will get you in fast if it is super bad if it is not to bad it will be longer but to be honest you whant to have to wait a long time Beacouse that means you are probably not that bad
This place is on of the nastiest places I’ve ever been in! Why don’t they have a cleaning person for the ER to come around every hour! Every time I come here I bring my own Lysol. Y’all should do the same
It feels strange that this ER doesn’t provide an estimated wait time when so many others do. Patients often have multiple ER options, and if their visit is urgent, knowing the wait time could help them decide where to go for faster care. Why do some ERs share wait times while others choose not to?
