I had a great experience at the Columbus office recently. I was examined by Dr. Haas. I have diabetes and she made sure to dilate me and write a letter to my family doctor to update him on how my diabetes is affecting my vision and other aspects of my health. She answered all of my questions. Dr. Haas and the staff took their time to make sure that I was comfortable every step of the way. When I walked into the Gahanna office, I was immediately drawn to the glittering displays of frames. I have been a lover of glasses for about 25 years (and I'm NOT that old!) so it was a relief to see that this establishment would cater to my taste. I was worried about the champagne taste/beer budget issue, but as soon as one of the optician's approached me, her smile put me at ease. I would definately recommend Berk Eye Care Center for your vision care needs. My whole family goes there and have been for years. The doctors are all very knowledgable and address all of my family's concerns. The staff are also very friendly and knowledgable. The selection of frames are always great and affordable. I would never go elsewhere because I really don't care for the quality of the other places. Why go to a discount place or chain when you can support local businesses?
Don't waste you time. You're better off at Lens Crafters or anywhere else that the billing department won't rip off with a ton of "extras". As far as eye doctors, consider being examined by an eye surgeon or someone who will actually inform you. Unbelievable !
