I do not recommend her I do not recommend her. She is not friendly and she does not spend time o understand her patient. She does not follow up. I will never go to her again.
She's a great doctor Dr. Bergwerk steps out to help you improve your health. Rather than give you a simple diagnosis like "you're overweight" or even what better doctors will tell you, "lose weight", Dr. Bergwerk will give you multiple suggestions. She gives you advice to attack a problem from multiple angles. If you have an issue that involves a different type of doctor she gives excellent references.
Margaret B Both my husband and I have been patients of Dr. Bergwerk's for years, as were our children once they were too old for the pediatrician. She's thorough, careful, clear and not afraid to say 'I don't know.' Her referrals have been excellent. She explains clearly and treats her patients with respect. So far she has been absolutely accurate in her diagnoses and treatments. I recommend her highly. Her nurses also are friendly and professional.
I cant say enough good things... about Dr. Bergwerk. Her office is never crowded and if you arrive on time you will never wait more than 5 minutes. She has always been able to accomodate same-day appointments if I call with a health problem. She has never been unable to answer any health related questions Ive had. When she speaks to you, shes sitting down looking directly at you, unlike other doctors Ive seen where you talk to their back while they scuffle around the room. JE I've been a patient of Dr. Bergwerk's for many years and have always appreciated her thoughtful, clear, direct approach to health, and to the hurts, both small and very large, in my life. I have recommended her to several of my friends and they, too, are happy with care there. When I visit docs with my elderly mother in another state and am called "dear" in a most condescending way and get no explanation for procedures and/or tests Mother is facing, I bless Sally's name. Great doctor Sally Bergwerk is a great doctor. She is very matter-of-fact - and doesn't mince words. She treats both me and my husband and we love her. She asks great questions - and even encouraged me to have something that seemed out of place with my health checked out with my obgyn. Because of her, I am lucky that I was able to have my daughter. There isn't a single doctor I would recommend more highly than Dr. Bergwerk.
stepford doctor Her office reminds me of the stepford wives. Nurses with rocks on their finger that are bigger than my car. Everyone is mechanical and not very hands-on. The impersonal service turned me off, but I know others who are happy there, so who knows?
