They managed my rental property for over fifteen years. The last 2 years they ignored my tenants reports of maintenance needs. Not responsive when contacted. Seems too busy to deal with small accounts.
I Really wish I had looked at all the negative reviews posted online before doing business with Berger. I have come to find out that their property management operates in a extremely unprofessional and incompetent manner. They are quick to assess fee's to make extra money and charge excess fee's to their tenants, and as well as the property owners for any service repairs when any repair requests are completed. The star rating is the closest to the pre-existing average rating, and l believe it is appropriate. Though Berger Briggs' staff are great to work with as a tenant, the fact that the initial property l tried to rent was considered ready/habitable by the company is concerning to me. l am satisfied with how my situation was handled, though. Called last week, got confirmation in EMAIL that the parking permit would be at the office. Nope. No one at office except a receptionist that had to be the bearer of bad news. Out for lunch almost an hour early, I guess. Decided after the EXTENDED break, that the permit was ready to be picked up. Over two hours later, because again, went to lunch early.
The service was good until few months ago and they stopped responding lately. The quality of service is so bad now that I have to call every time to follow up on maintenance requests and the manager/assistant doesn’t answer at all. I’ve been waiting for 8 months for an issue with my mailbox to be resolved and they don’t care at all.
