The Bergen County Debate Club is an educational program serving North Jersey residents, ages 10 and up, focused exclusively on the development of critical thinking, persuasive argumentation and public speaking skills for young students. We are a team of highly qualified and experienced instructors, collectively achieving 21 TOC Bids, numerous NSDA, NCFL, NDCA Nationals Qualifications, and several APDA Championships on the National Circuit, both as competitors and coaches.

Love Bergen County Debate Club! The way they approach debate, with dedication, seriousness, commitment and hard work totally reflects on the kids and their achievements. The coaches and the owners are incredible in going above and beyond to ensure all the kids are interested and to train those who want to go further to take top spots at national tournaments. BCDC is simply one of the best debate clubs in the country! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn and excel at debate.
Excellent debate program! This was one of the best decisions we have ever made for my son! Oksana is great! She really cares about each student and she is very professional and supportive. I would highly recommend Bergen county debate club and I think this is the best gift that you can give to your children. It will help them not only in public speaking but in higher level thinking, writing, researching and overal as a person.
I would highly recommend this club. The coaches provide all the support needed to succeed in debate, as well as providing skills for normal life.
As a parent, I can definitely recommend Bergen County Debate Club! All 3 of my children are attending it now. These are the best and most educational classes! As a student that has attended Bergen County Debate Club for around 2 years, I can happily say that I have benefitted immensely from the services that Bergen County Debate Club provides. From Parliamentary Debate to Public Forum to Model UN, I have developed more confidence in public speaking and with BCDC's success, it is clear that this club is effective. Much thanks to Oksana and all of the coaches!
I love Bergen County Debate Club. I started a little while ago when my public speaking skills and debate skills were ok, and over the course of just a few months now I have gotten noticeably better. I go to the Glen Rock location. The coaches have helped me become a better public speaker and a debater in general. I would definitely recommend this class even though it is a little pricey since it is definitely worth it!
