I have seen great improvement within the last year. Mom and the residents I talk to seem much happier and staff much more attentive. Dinning room has greatly improved. I would recommend Bentley as a safe and comfortable place to be.
Wonderful facility in the heart of Lynchburg. From the activities director, up through the front office, including the always-friendly front desk receptionists and on through to the Director of Nursing and Administrator, Bentley Commons is a wonderful asset to our senior community
Bentley Commons is an incredible community for your loved one. Their dedicated team goes above and beyond to ensure that each resident’s needs are met daily. I’ve truly enjoyed my relationship with the staff and residents over the years. Thank you, Bentley Commons, for all that you do for your community—your hard work does not go unnoticed!
Please, please never send your loved one here - this place has issues with dispensing meds, following doctor directives, sending the correct information/list of meds to the ER and blames the RESIDENT for staff getting injured during transfers. The aides work very hard, but the turnover of staff makes their job even harder. On the weekends they are lucky to have 2 aides to take care of 75 residents - often leaving a loved one stuck in their bed covered in urine & feces until 10:30 in the morning.
