This doctor accepts low end state funded insurance. The problem is his staff screens patients based on personal opinion. If any form, of what staff describe as confrontational behavior is observed, the patient is discharged from the practice. The stench of arrogance is defecating from the front office/receptionist. I had sensitivity and tooth pain for years. Dr Benson immediately diagnosed the need for a minor bite adjustment and now I can chew on both sides of my mouth! I hadn’t even realized I had been protecting the teeth on my right side. He is very knowledgeable and explained what was happening with my bite and also went into detail about the fact that I clench my teeth (which he could see from patterns on my tongue!). My two daughters have been going here for eitght years. At some point the staff changed to different people, and not for the better. Dr. Benson hadn't bothered to see my girls for three years and was never told of any issues which i found suspect. Sure enough, took them to another dentist and my one daughter had five cavaties (two of which were pretty big) and my other daughter had two small cavaties. My wife and I have been calling his office for half a week, we’ve had to reschedule my youngest daughter’s appointment two different times because the doctor never seems to be in. He has another practice in California which is absolutely ridiculous! They literally refuse to answer their phone, and they refuse to return phone calls with detailed messages and phone numbers left. I will be looking for a new dentist that actually practices and where his staff actually answers the phone.
Definitely will recommend. Extremely knowledgeable. Flexible in planning care needs friendly
