Ben’s is a solid 4/5 restaurant. Getting pretzels was much faster before the other restaurant merged inside there. But this is a very nice place to grab a snack when you are ice skating during the winter. Overall i always like to stop here for a quick bite. pretzels are always warm and soft the sauce is creamy and cheesy.
Stopped and got the Berlin sandwich for lunch. It had turkey, bacon, tomato, mayo, cheese, and lettuce on a pretzel bun. Sandwich was a good size and was pretty good! The bread did not get soggy and there was a bunch of meat on it, which was nice.
They started serving sandwiches. I got a New Yorker with corned beef and tomato soup. Absolutely the worst sandwich I’ve ever had. Soggy bread, cold meat, and cold soup. Do not recommend!
My batch of the small pretzels was over-salted. Once I picked off the salt they were fabulous all warm and like tiny pillows!!
